...if i think of the writters, ong organizations, doctors without frontiers, femenist movements in particular dangerous places of earth, journalists..... they should get all the recognition and finantial support, instead babysitting grown ass men/women just because a coorporation polish their images to fictional characters that don't exist and to wich ideals we aspire to, supporting their vices and lavish lifestyle

TRUTH. These celebrities get praised and followed so much but there are so many people that are better role models and deserve to have much more recognition. Teachers, doctors, scientists, volunteers, and activists are doing so much more to better communities. They should be the ideal to aspire to.

Not when a lot of ongs and feminist movements are involved in corruption and/or are shady as fuck to begin with. Plus a lot of them receive money almost free of taxes from sponsors. My money better not go to them, lol.

It's best spent with things I like and, in a way or another, will provide me some benefit even though temporary or better yet, saved at a bank or invested for future use.

But agree that celebrities in general are given too much credit and are over praised. That's why a lot of them think they're above the law.

its understandable tho?! i mean youtubers/musicians/singers/actors money come from hundreds or thousands of people who are throwing their money at them cause they are entertainers and who doesn't like entertainment?! and when you mix irl problems with entertainment the result is massive.

fans are the ones who spend that much money on showbizz people. showbizz people like idols/singers are designed in a way that its sticks in people brains and its almost becomes an addiction.

the thing is a true role model or people who are actually doing something to make the society a better place might not be popular or ain't visual queens/kings or ain't have an image/character/Charisma like showbizz people have, many young people especially teens are attracted to fictional characters/idols/singers etc,.. its just the reality and the entertainment business in general is attractive, an average person with a regular job is not that attractive, people will look at a brave person doing something unbelievable to save people's lives like the firefighter who died in a mission to rescue about 300 passengers and cabin crew after a fire broke out on a plane in Dubai airport last year, many people will look at that and say oh what a legend but then they will just move on and forget it, while a singer/idol/actor does something really small and its makes people cry and remember it for ages!!

and you can't blame them cause in today's society one thing that a lot of young people suffer from is stress, and many young people are already done with all the problems in their society they don't wanna join campaigns or movements or become part of a group organization etc.. all of that stuff can be very stressful especially on people who are mentally weak its might just make their life even worse, they just want to live a normal life and find anything that can makes them happy and entertainment and showbizz people are easily accessible and can make people happy by using their talent or their fictional character qualities visuals, image, character, Charisma and its works to activate peoples imagination/delusion its like drug but a healthy one.
