All the "why hasn't Seungri been jailed yet?" comments in Korea

I think the police are just building a monster case against him. Charge him in one go with everything they can. His boasting in the group chat about Korean law being a joke, they want to make an example of him.

I have feeling he may tell all on YG on the way out too.

Now I admit that the Korean police could fuck this up too and theres certainly high ups involved. I just get the feeling that quote will drive him into the ground. I can see them really making an example of him and him getting 10 years or so.

He is not going to tell on anyone. He is nothing but a shameless human being. He'd have exposed all the higher ups by now if he had the thought of actually doing it. The moment he opens his mouth, he will be gone for good. We are dealing with powerful and rich thugs. It's easier said than done.

I dunno how it works exactly in Korea but in most places you need 1 criminal offence to arrest and charge someone over. You then build up a case and if you find more offences rleate dto the original then you simply add them on. There's no need to wait to have like 10 in 1 go, that creates more trouble than normal (if you're not officially charged you could probably still have acces to your funds/assests, free to go anyway, meet anyone etc) whereas even being charged for 1 offence can put restrictions on you.

JJY was arrested with a few offences and admitted guilt and there's potentially more offences against him to come as more victims come forward. Why is he charged for his initial offences and having more added on but seungri hasn't even got 1?

Him still being free is super duper fishy.

It will be a very light sentence for maybe looking at videos or hiring pros, unless he drugged someone or filmed someone without their consent, of which there is nothing public of his direct involvement yet.

Police will not touch Burning Sun, because the VIPs are very rich and powerful people on South Korea.

I think the reason why Seungri isn't arrested yet  is simply because they might lack solid evidence against all the charges that is put against him for him to be jailed (also there will be a trial before that) and him constantly denying everything doesn't make it easier as well. But I read they are preparing an arrest warrant against him so they might be planning something.  Also they need the higher ups and right now Seungri is one of their only sources to get them, he is been questioned over hours since days lol.

You don't need to collect tons of evidence first to arrest someone, one solid evidence is enough for an arrest warrant.

The thing with Seungri's case is that he ain't got direct victims like for example JJY and the rest had (if you get what i mean), JJY and the rest had victims as witnesses or people who saw what they did plus pictures and video material, there was no way they could have excused themself out of it so they admitted the crimes right away.

But the things Seungri is charged for also involve other people who committed a crime, like the prostitutes, the clients that accepted the prostitues, those who helped him with embezzlement. In his case it's hard to find witnesses as the only ones who could really help as witness probably got dirty hands themself. So everyone suddenly don't know eachother anymore. Right now it's all about exposing your partner in crime and facing the consequences of getting arrested as well, like how it happened with the prostitutes.

In Seungri's cases there are to many high ups involved and not to forget he got himself like the best lawer he could find lol. That might be the reason he hasn't been jailed jet as he will have to face a trial before that anyway. You only jail criminals before a trial if there is a high chance the person might try to run away or if the person is categorized as dangerous.

Well at least thats how it is in germany, might be different in Korea.
