SleepzCat 598
Firstly, I place no blame for this on NU'EST. This isn't their fault, I know. Secondly, I know the promo was handled by Chicteen. I'm only including Pledis in this because the promo features Pledis artists. Meaning they're likely also getting money from the promo. I was wondering if some of you here could help reach out to Chicteen Magazine and/or Pledis via email or Twitter regarding an instance of copyright infringement in this magazine promo. Click here to view the Tweet The song in question is called Journey. For the record, the song is indeed copyrighted. I thought I'd ask here for help in bringing this to the attention of both parties as I doubt that anything will be done about this unless enough people make noise. This happens too often to smaller artists. Some people have responded to the original tweet, requesting for someone to reach out to the artist. Any extra help is appreciated though. Contacting Chicteen seems a bit more difficult though as they seem to only have a Weibo for promo.
justtree 2,740
LOVEs have been trying to reach Pledis at the moment. We are also trying to contact the C-LOVEs to help contact Chicteen since NU'EST twitter account just reposted the original video from Chicteen's Weibo account. C-LOVEs managed to contact Chicteen and LOVEs managed to contact Pledis and both Chicteen and Pledis/NU'EST have both taken down the video from their weibo and twitter page respectively. If you know any of the musicians, please send them our apology. The use of their music even as background to the behind the scene of the photoshoot should be acknowledged, at the very least credited in the video. Probably the staff making the video was not aware of this. Thank you also for letting us know the musicians behind the nice & gentle tunes.
