nttllng 468 Posted April 22, 2019 Share Posted April 22, 2019 COLOMBO: A leading Sri Lankan Muslim political leader on Monday called for introspection within the community after a local Muslim group was blamed for the suicide bombings that killed 290 people on Easter Sunday. Rauff Hakeem, a Minister and a leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, said that being a Muslim Minister in the Cabinet he believed that the Muslim community and its leaders should introspect. "We are ashamed and outraged. We have tried to address issues within the community," media reports quoted him as saying. I am ashamed because these asshats call themselves muslims and we as muslims could not stop them (heck I am 23 and I didn't even know they existed) before they did this crime. I am angry because these assholes ruined the lives of so many people. Because of their wrong and extreme beliefs. Jihad is self defence. What they did is murder. Plain murder. And I hope the guilty suffer a horrible demise. And pay for what they did. More than 200 people lost their lives. And so many families are ruined. And as I know of what happened before in this country. This will end up in retaliation that will cause the loss of more people in the time to come. This is awful.
