This Korean Actress (Yoon Ji-oh) Is Risking Her Life To Expose The Truth About Jang Ja Yeon

An Interview by Asian Boss

It costs over $25,000 per month for around the clock protection.

In case anyone wants to help out, Asian Boss started a GoFundMe.

An update on Asian Boss (regarding the GoFundMe for her security):

Asian Boss 2019.04.22(edited)

UPDATE: Since this interview has aired, we've been told by Ms. Yun that she is being accused by certain Korean media outlets and high-profile individuals of raising funds for her personal gain at the expense of Jang's death. Despite the fact that the money was needed for her own protection and safety, she has communicated to us that she will be canceling the campaign, and refunding all the money back to the donors to avoid any misunderstanding about her true intentions. She has explicitly asked us not to promote this campaign any longer, so we have no choice but to respect her wishes.

Either way, we want to thank Ms. Yun for her courage to speak up and do the right thing. Please keep sharing this video and raising awareness about this issue. Thanks for your support.

I respect her so fucking much. She's had to deal with soo much to the point where she almost committed suicide, almost murdered but here she is, still fighting. Many of us would've given up.

Not really religious but I hope God (or similar) protects her, and that the evil fuckers behind this are brought to justice, along with SK's society on a whole that needs a complete reformation.

The part where the police told her why she wasn't likely to be kidnapped is soooo fucked up beyond levels.... I'm so disgusted...

For real. That's f**ked up.

2 Accidents - First accident, low tire pressure. On a highway her car spun 4 times. Second accident (less than 2 weeks since her first accident), she was at a stop light and got rammed at a high speed from behind ("It definitely looked intentional").

Questionable police protection - She was in a safe house and was given a safety smartwatch. She pressed it 3 times and no one showed up. Each time the button is pressed it's supposed to alert 3 places: Police station (assigned to her), emergency hotline, and the detective in charge. Someone is supposed to come within 10 minutes...But NO one came.

And so until it was after she filed a petition for the lack of police protection, she was given a new safety smartwatch and 24 hour police protection. This is ONLY for when she's in Korea.

Her permanent residency is Canada, and even though going to the Embassy, they said if the Korean government doesn't do anything, they (Canadian government) cannot do anything. As of now she has no protection if she goes back to her home in Canada. She's seeking whether she can get protection under international laws.

Because she is on the front lines, fighting for this case, she's exposed. Everyone knows who she is. She has no other choice but to keep moving forward.

F**k this is so sad and frustrating.

i mentioned it before and people got upset but this is the reality of judicial systems you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that YOUR life is in mortal danger to get police protection, they won't just hand it to you if you ask, being part of an important criminal investigation doesn't warrant protection. As for embassy protection? Lol c'mon now a forgien government has its hands tied with alot of red tape, secondly they will only protect you if you are under threat by your own government or a serious faction within the country that your government refuses to deal with. You will need PROOOF emphasis on PROOF for them to step in and even then you would have to jump to Canada and plead for political asylum. That process is just about the same with any country. I know that she is in some trouble but if you can't fully agrue the situation with the government they won't help, sure it sux but thats how those things work. Also unfortunately she won't get protection under international law in Korea. Korea like most nations in the UN have not ratified every treaty, so allowing foreign defense contractors in would be a hell no even if they were they would be bound by the nations civilian law so they wouldn't have any authority nor be allowed to carry weapons. If real protection like that came about it would be out of country, or convince any country that has an embassy here, that in itself will e a tough sell politically and even tougher sell for xyz nations citizens to accept its national resources going to it,not to sound insensitive but most in their respective countries wouldn't care.

Maybe, but she has to try. It's her life's safety after all. I believe her request for internation protection is for Canada, her permanent residence. She has protection in Korea but not for Canada.

Anyway, I pulled that info from the interview.

true but as i said before she will need lots of proof for Canada to help. She may have residency in Canada but shes not a Canadian citizen an extra hurdle saying they have no obligation to you. As for the protection she would need to somehow convince the Canadian government that she needs protection by police or federal agencies while in Canada it will be hard to prove some international entity is after you. But if she wishes to stay in Korea and get protection from Canada she would have to basically request asylum and stay in the Canadian embassy just like jullian Assange is in the Russian embassy

She's in a tough spot.
