Do you have a favorite / main airline?

When I'm in the US, I only really use JetBlue. But when I'm going international, I mainly use Star Alliance airlines (All Nippon Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss, and United (begrudingly if desperate)) and link all the miles to my ANA miles account. I also use British Airways sometimes. I'm flying Virgin Atlantic (which I can link to my ANA account) and Air France (my first A380) for the first time this summer.

So I fly JetBlue the most, but my favorite is ANA.

for local airline, Southwest, I've never had any issues with them. For international airlines, I haven't flown much internationally, but so far, ANA and Singapore seem to be my favorites (only other international airline I've flown with is British Airways when I was doing study abroad and they fucking forgot my luggage as well as forgot and destroyed a classmate's luggage when they finally brought it over to the arrival airport).

In the US when flying domestic I like Southwest because they don't charge extra for checked bags, and they let you change your flight itinerary for free as much as you want until the day of your flight.

not to mention that you're not given a seat number and letter like on other airlines, you're just given a number and letter (A, B, or C) which indicates your place in the boarding line and if you get assigned A or B you pretty much have free range to any seat on the plane for your class, more so with A than B, since A boards first, then B, then C.

My dad works for United so that's been my main airline most of my life and it's been good overall. Due to that, I haven't flown many other airlines.

JAL and Hawaiian were nice but I didn't like the lack of air vents on their planes (I think they use Airbus vs Boeing but could be wrong).

Lufthansa has been good for us when we fly in Europe.

wow I thought I was pretty rich but today I found out there are people that stan airlines

If you're going to spend the money and time for a flight it might as well be a company that you've had good experiences with.

If you're paying the money, you want to go on the best.

If just so happens that most of the best airlines are Star Alliance, which works out well for me. All of that can go towards my ANA account. I'm already halfway to a free economy roundtrip ticket to Japan. My time my current miles expire in 2 and half years, I could be up to business class.

I love watching flight review videos. They're fascinating. I will not get on a plane unless I see it throughly reviewed first.

I mostly use Delta and Air France.  When I head to Asia, I try to use one of their partners.  Flying locally, I use Southwest.  I actually dislike their seating system.  I enjoyed flying Singapore and Korean.  The only time I flew 1st class was domestically on American and it was not worth it.

In the US, Alaska is alright. Haven’t had a late/missed flight with them and that’s good enough for me.

I had to talk Alaska once I was dismayed to find that there was no TV in the back of the seat. Good thing it was a red eye and I had been travelling for 20 hours at that point.
