I have a hard time believing they'd change his order just because he's asian. I mean, why would anyone do that? Interviewers should properly research beforehand and that one certainly didn't do his homework, but I don't see anything racist in saying one's English is awesome when that person looks foreign. Doesn't sound really bad or an issue at all imo. The other things were rude, childish, tasteless and definitely ignorant but I don't think they were racist. I don't agree with some Koreans having racist tendencies towards SEA individuals, but that doesn't mean anyone else deserves to be treated poorly.
