AKB management system is AKS act as middle management and sell certain girls' contract to outside agencies. Those agencies are all more powerful than AKB's main management. They're responsible for giving girls solo jobs and pushes within the main group. Miichan belonged to one of the biggest agency Ohta Pro with biggest influence in AKS so they likely was going to protect her from the scandal, like Watanabe supported Yukirin, Miichan close friend, from her scandal with Tegoshi and just pretended it didn't happen. She did it herself and apologised without any one asking her too. Don't blame Japan on that one. She knew of the rules before entering so it's entirely her fault for breaking them.But yeah, they seem to be lenient on the love ban rules now so she can do whatever she likes if it suits her.
