I've finally seen a K-pop album for sale in my country!

Another important landmark in K-pop's growing popularity. I've just seen BTS "Persona" album for sale in my local Sainsbury's (it's a big UK supermarket chain). Amazing! I never thought I'd see the day. smile.png

Notice it's security tagged! By the way, £22 is about US$29, €25, A$40 and â‚©33,000.

That's actually amazing! I wish I could buy my faves album whilst doing my weekly shop. I haven't looked at the CD section in supermarkets for years.

Wish I could relate. Germany has one kpop shop in total and that's in Berlin. Like...one...for the whole country.

EDIT: Oh we actually expended to five... 0u0plz.png

I know what you mean, it's actually the same in the UK. But that's what surprised me to see the BTS album in my local supermarket (I'm not in London). Kpop still has very little exposure in mainstream media here and even then as a curiosity. But now I'm beginning to wonder... maybe something's changing? Maybe the same in Germany soon?

I'm hopeful. Especially if we consider that London and Berlin get toured a lot with european tours becoming more and more popular.
