I've only dropped everything but skincare recently.

My bareface made me look 10 years younger in a bad way haha. I still get carded for rated R movies. That's why I wouldn't leave the house without eyeliner, concealer, and lipstain.

It was more effort than I wanted and I set a standard for other people to expect that makeup on me rather than make me feel like I was dolled up. I would have never thought that I go without any of that now more often. Now I don't feel like I need a lot whenever I put on makeup. I do wish I could have more practice with a variety of makeup looks that suit me though.

I was never insecure about it until I began using make-up.  I saw other girls wearing it and they looked pretty so when I got into it I felt like I always needed to wear at least foundation to cover up all my scars and blemishes.  But now, I always bare it all cause I honestly don't care anymore.  And my skin feels more healthy now that I don't use all that make-up to cover it.

I still need eye makeup to look polished when I go out because it balances out my other features

Do you only use eyeshadow?

I use eyeliner (outer half on the bottom and around the outer corners) and a bit of mascara and usually some white eyeshadow in my inner corners

it's kawaii and pretty at the same time tbh

I do the same exact thing when I want to quickly play up my eyes haha

Eyeshadow (for eyebrows), liquid / crayon eyeliner, and bb cream / powder

That's a nice, simple routine. Nothing wrong with polishing out your features

The worst thing is when people start to comment once you're transitioning. "You look tired" "are you sick?"

I'm glad it has stopped now ^_^

I have never had problems with my bare face and just recently I have started to wear make up daily (at least I try to). I look super young so make up at least makes me look almost around my age. If I didn't look so young I would probably not wear any. I get carded when I go to bars lol .-.

im never completely barefaced except im at home. what i meant by barefaced is the face i have when i go to sleep, clean and fresh without any makeup at all. but, i tend to be almost barefaced when i only go out by myself to supermarket etc (simple occasions) i only put moisturizer, sunblock, baby powder, do my eyebrows, put lipstick and put mascara on (if im not that lazy). other than, my makeup regime itself is pretty simple, even for work. so im not that insecure. but yeah, seeing people look good with makeup on makes me want to put more makeup. but somehow, thick makeup doesnt fit me. and yes, when im "barefaced", strangers are always like " what grade are you ?, where do you study at?" ahaha

I don't use makeup frequently. I'll use it if I go to a club but it'll be only mascara and lipstick, nothing else.

I don't care for makeup. Every day, I'll take care of my skin, like cleaning and use a really greasy cream because of my really really dry skin.

I was totally fine with my bare face until I started wearing makeup :( Now i'm doing better with a good skincare routine so I'm more comfortable with my bare face, but I still need at least a tinted lip balm to look alive :(

Basically I'm too lazy to put a makeup on my face. And I feel kinda uncomfortable when those unlikely powders/cream and eyeliners and blushes and mascara and lipstain/lipgloss/lipstick whatever to be "painted" on my face, so... I never feel so insecure abt it :)
Oh, plus I have my dad's face which makes my mo sooo crazy in love with him when my parents first met, so I'm still fabulous even w/out makeup

When I got a mild case of acne in junior high I was very insecure about my face. I didn't even like looking people in the eye because I felt if I did all they would look at was how ugly my skin looked. So I always avoided people's eyes and never liked having my full face in people's eyesight.

Then when I got rid of the acne that insecurity never went away and I still couldn't look people in the eye and was insecure about my face which sucked because I wasn't allowed to wear makeup.

Now I can look people in the eye, but I'm still insecure about bare face and never leave the house without makeup on. Not even if it's just to run to the store or to go put gas in my car. Hell I'm still insecure about my face even with makeup on. Just with makeup I feel a little better about my face.
