On the 11th, it was announced on NGT48’s official site that NGT48 will restart as 1st generation members and trainees (called ‘research students’) and will be leaving their current team system behind. NGT48 currently has two teams, Team NIII with 10 girls and Team G with 11. Team NIII and Team G will be holding their last performance on the 21st following the canceling of the group’s team system. The line-up for the concert will be announced when it’s decided.Last December, member Maho Yamaguchi revealed on SNS that she was assaulted by fans in her home. Niigata City should have them cease and desist from using NG and NIII in their name until they genuinely make things right. They don't have a name without a city.
