It's pretty clear that kpop in general is rising. Red Velvet just had a successful North American tour (they didn't have a ton of dates but as far as I know the tickets sold well). Other groups are also selling out medium sized venues and Twice and Blackpink are probably going to have good success as well on their American tours. 

 

Armies have led the way for sure. Their organization on youtube and twitter has been copied by other fandoms and it just looks like things are continually expanding for everyone.

Welp i guess the whole BTSpop supremacy and its cohorts trying to block other groups from the same industry from benefitting off of this tide don’t work.. after all the drama .. and the fumes and the grade b photoshop skills.
