With twice slowly changing concepts, do you think they will be a streaming threat again?

Lately its been a battle between BTS and BP while Twice held down 3rd place, will the concept change put them back in the game for first place?

I don't know, even with cutey concepts they still held strong at 3rd place, with a more western feel they might be a problem for the current kings and  queens of youtube.  This is really shaping up to be a interesting month!

Well., it's only can happening if Twice become household name in SEA countrys (mostly Indonesia) like Blackpink or become popular in USA like Bts..

 

If Twice can't do that, it will be hard to rival these 2 groups..

If China people always used Youtube., then EXO & Bigbang will top in all Youtube view achievements..

I think a concept change would definitely help boost their views in SEA and western countries but it's not like Twice has ever needed them to have strong YT views.

 

I may be part of the minority but I'm actually kinda glad Twice doesn't have to compete with BTS and BP anymore in terms of YT views, fandom wise it was pretty messy. I still remember when Spring Day and Knock Knock were released on the same day and both fandoms were a mess on twitter trying to compete against each other, even going so far as to hack bighits website to play Knock knock.

 

I'm just happy with onces only trying to beat Twice's previous records rather than trying to beat another group, Army's and Blinks can have that lol.

it has less to do with concept and more about HOW the song sounds and where and what kind of fanbase u have

 

i personally dont see twice rivaling bp and bts in terms of views, cause both of those groups are household names with strong streaming power with youtube as one of their brands. twice will pull their usual 270M or similar to likey (around 300M+) by year end imo

Streaming=Youtube and spotify? They were never a ''threat'' in spotify since they didn't even have their songs there till WIL? but their numbers are really good so far. 

And for youtube, well, I guess they could snatch some of those fans who stream their faves' mvs all day with a western friendly concept, not like they need any of those as long as they have the GP and the fans who buy their albums on their side tho lol, the rest are just a plus
