malo 44 Posted April 8, 2019 Share Posted April 8, 2019 I actually forgot YamaPi went to college! I'm kind if surprised Shige isn't higher. Back in the old days idols (and other entertainers) would frequently drop out of high school, and it's understandable why they did because I think in Japan it's common for people go to school JUST to get a job and kids would even leave after jr high because they had a job lined up. Of course with idols they would probably see the benefits of working on their career instead of finishing school. I just want to say it's fine that some idols choose that path! BUT I also think it's really good to see more and more idols are continuing their education and that companies are willing to make their schedules so they can do idol things and attend school.
