All nomination are based on chart performance afaik, not based on who's more popular. How's BP performance on Billboard Social 50 chart compared to Got7? There was no chance for BP or any of those others to ever be nominated. You can’t look at an award that’s recognizing active social media engagement and ask why acts not having the same are not nominated.
