They most likely bought separate units. And we don't know if they're actually planning to live there when it's finished. This could just be for investment purposes. A lot of top idols buy apartments/buildings just to have some real estate to their name.

Same here and the prices are considerately lower when it's on the drawing too. It's a long run investment.
