After her midnight filming for her drama on the 19th of June, actress Gong Hyojin was involved in a three car rear-end collision on the highway.

Gong Hyojin was traveling in a van on the Yeongdong highway towards Incheon. While the van was switching lanes, it collided with Mr. Park in his 4.5t truck.

Immediately following the collision, Mr. Kim rear-ended the actresses car with his 2.5t truck resulting in a three car accident.

Everyone including the driver of the van, Mr. Gong, had injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Her agency responded to reporters through a phone call saying “Thankfully nobody was seriously injured. Gong did hurt her forehead, back and her face but they are minor injuries.†They also revealed that the staff members riding in the car along with her had only slight injuries as well.

However, shortly afterwards Gon Hyojin’s agency announced, “We thought the injury was minor but after a few more tests, it seems that Gong Hyojin has fractured her left arm and will have to rest for a while.â€

Gyeonggi Highway Patrol police, after a careful investigation, decided the fault was on Mr. Gong who was driving the van that started the accident and has charged him for failure to drive safely.

She broke her arm, and they overlooked it at first? How do you miss that?

She could just have a hairline fracture and thought it was just bruised. If you have a serious break you pretty much know, but if it's a hairline fracture you could still move your arm and it would hurt, but you could associate that with the bruise.

Sometimes it doesn't show up on an x-ray so she might have complained about her arm hurting more and they injected dye so it would show up for a bone scan/MRI type thing.
