Would you rather have an Electric scooter or a folding bike?

Help me decide, my bike got stolen while locked outside so now I need a portable option that I can bring indoors with me.

Pro's for electric scooter:

  • More portable
  • Won't get sweaty when commuting
  • Easier to ride on sidewalks
  • Cooler

Pro's for folding bike:

  • Keeps you fit
  • Won't run out of fuel on a commute
  • More comfortable since you can sit down

What I really want is the stigo but its a bit out of my budget ($1200)

I have a regular bike I don't want a clown bike, electric scooter is so much more appealing lmao how much does it cost ???

I guess it makes sense since you have a regular bike.  Ive  been turning into a fat ass tho so I don't think a electric scooter is right for me.  Plus I just discovered a bike bath in my neighborhood and it seems like a waste to ride a scooter on a bike bath.

The good scooters that go 15 mph and last for 14 miles cost around $300

It's a good thing to hear that you're not missing any meals xD lmao lemme stop jk

Me personally would just get a regular bike I got mines at Walmart for 92 bucks and than buy a bike chain and register your bike and than you're good to go.

Mini bikes just look so small and it doesn't even look comfortable for adults laugh.png

Scooter. Folding bike is slightly awkward for me to ride because of seat and pedal positions.

hmm i didn't even think about the ride and if it would be harder.  I'm short tho, like almost 5'7 so it shouldn't be too bad.

folding bike

I have one that looks like this

A couple of my friends own folding bikes and I've ridden them.

I'm 5'11 but have medium legs (I have a long torso which is where my height comes from lol) and the problem for me is the gap between the pedals and seats for me is quite big so my legs stretch fully when pedalling which is a no no when riding. Then there's the problem that because the wheels are so small you have to keep turning fast at a constant rate. Combine those 2 issues and I get fatigue on my quads and lower back therefore I can't ride them for long time, maybe like 30 min max till it becomes really uncomfortable.
