Kpop leaders who don't take on a parental role in their group

Kind of a spin off thread of my past thread about the most caring kpop leaders.  So who do you think fits the bill?  I remember someone mentioned that a  maknae was a leader for a group, I don't remember the name of the group but I bet he's not very fatherly towards his members lol.

Hrm. Idk about mother and father off of the top of my head, but I think Heechul is definitely the Uncle of Kpop idols haha.

If you are talking about within individual groups Jihyo/Jeongyeon are the mommy duo in TWICE haha

Thanks, I think I worded the title funny.  I meant which leader is not very parental towards their members.  Like maybe they are just mean or they are like Nayeon and super childish.

Yoon is the maknae and also the leader of WINNER. He's treated as a maknae but respected as a leader and guides the members in most official events. I wouldn't say he's fatherly but he's very supportive, encouraging and the members just have mutual respect for each other's role in the group.

While RM is dependable and caring, he not necessarily consider the "parental" one in BTS.

That role is more Jin and Suga. Even Jhope is said to nag like a parent also.

I thought Jin was like Nayeon (on youtube they always say she's the female jin).  Is he really supportive or something?

And yeah I agree, from what I've seen of BTS (not much admittedly) he seems to have a spokesperson vibe not a parental vibe.  That could be because he speaks English tho.

Jin for the longest time was consider the "mom" of the group. This is something the other members use to call him too. (e.g. there's a old video of this.) Jin is caring and kind. The younger members depend on Jin. His role in the group is important to dynamics.

Yes, Jin is a nice and not controlling. He also let the member play and joke with him. Let the maknae, Jungkook hit him lol. So maybe that's what some people mean when they compare Nayeon to him.

edit: As the leader, RM is the representative of BTS. Whether that's internationally leading with his English or in Korea solving problems with the company or etc. I think part of the reason he's not "parental" is due to his age in the group. He's the middle child lol
