How do you usually react when someone's asks your number on street and you don't want to give it?

Do you try to look intimidating and say "no"?

Or just say "no, sorry"?

Or just give a fake number?

Generally I just try to say no nicely. But once there was a super nice guy who asked it, I just smiled apologetically and said no, sorry and we stayed like 5 min until the next stop next to each other it was so awkward. Iowkey regretted I didn't give him a fake number

If it's a stranger I spoke to less than five minutes, say no and walk away.

If it's someone I had a proper conversation with, I get their number and then never contact them.

Ahh... once a group of drunk girls were calling me from where they were sitting on the curb, and said that they wanted my number. I just stood there awkwardly not sure of what to do, until the one girl just said "you dissing? I've never been dissed like this in my life" and they all got up and walked away? I felt kinda bad about it, not the best in those situations.

That's my only experience with it, I'd like to say in the future that I would be polite and say no nicely, but I'll probably just go blank faced again and not know what to do lol
