Article: "Seungtsby bling" YG's shopping mall is still selling Seungri's fan merch

Source: Kukmin Ilbo via Nate

1. [+1,875, -20] YG is blinded by greed, they need to fail

2. [+1,455, -10] They still don't get it!!

3. [+56, -0] Even the nickname Seungtsby... is so cringe

4. [+52, -0] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ If they terminated his contract and kicked him out, shouldn't they stop selling his fan merch too? ã…‹ YG has issues.

5. [+47, -1] I wouldn't call YG an entertainment agency anymore, they're more like a gang

6. [+30, -0] This definitely doesn't seem like a mistake that a top 3 agency would make ã…‹ã…‹ why are you still selling the merch of someone you terminated ã…‹ã…‹

7. [+19, -0] This is just wrong... YG's the one who terminated him and drew a line saying they have nothing to do with him and yet they're still selling his merch!!! Seungri may be trash but YG is a much bigger evil than him!

8. [+15, -0] Go look at Seungri's Instagram, you'll see supportive comments in live time ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ they're roaches

9. [+15, -0] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ YG's so blinded by greed, I bet there are ba$tards still buying this stuff too ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

10. [+14, -0] There are still foreign b*tches on YouTube going "why are you being so mean to Seungri oppa ㅜㅜ until a judgment is ruled, Seungri is still the great Seungtsby ㅠㅠ" ㅋㅋ I bet YG's trying ot milk the brainless idiots by selling this stuff still

Article'News Desk' Seungri's ramen restaurant drops 70% in sales in a day

Source: Star News via Naver

1. [+1,653, -13] The chain owners should file a lawsuit against him together. Make an example out of him so that we never get another celebrity like him again.

2. [+881, -17] Surprised that 30% are still going there... I heard it's all run by his relatives and close friends.

3. [+554, -28] Looking good after all that bragging about how he's a young CEO

4. [+384, -17] Those poor chain owners...

5. [+195, -7] They had no problem using Seungri's name to promote their business and now they want to cut ties with him? He's still their CEO. Just be honest and say you don't want your restaurant to go under so please help us out.

6. [+87, -5] Not that I'm trying to defend Seungri but I think this is a loss that the chain should've expected on absorbing. Aren't most celebrity chain restaurants dependent on the celebrity's image? They had no problem using Seungri's name when he was out on TV promoting their restaurants but now that he's caused a scandal, all the business losses are his to blame? Let's be honest, the restaurant's success was on his image, not on taste. You should've known before signing the contract that your restaurant would be at risk depending on his image.

7. [+83, -3] These chains need to fail harder. Sorry to the chain owners but they should all get together and file a lawsuit against Seungri. Empty his pockets so that he wakes up.

8. [+48, -0] Surprised there's still 30% who are going

Why are they victim-blaming the franchisees??

What is the point of hiring celebrity endorsers then if you can't expect them to at least have the same basic decency that a regular person has?

its not endorsing, its literally his own company rip otherwise company would have cancelled their contract already

yeah it's his company but franchisees are not employees,

they're more like business partners/independent contractors.

idt they would have bought an Aori Ramen franchise if a BB member was not the CEO and celebrity endorser.

they can cancel the contract due to seungri, and remove the sign, change it to something else

yeah but now their new ramen shop is no different from the other ramen shops in the neighborhood.

they'll have a hard - if not impossible - time of reaching their sales targets pre-BS era.

YG is not selling any solo Seungri merchandise, you can check their website http://www.ygselect.com/shop/all_brand.html.

This is BigBang's official fancafe... i mean it's clearly written over there. They probably still selling them because they need to get rid off it.

And not at people attacking the workers of the franchise... like for real when will people stop blaming everyone who is somehow linked to a problematic person ?

its better than hitting new low everyday

they can get franchising of another ramen shop, they would just need to change decorations

yes they can,

but whether they change their Aori Ramen franchise or not, they shouldn't be blamed by netizens for demanding compensation from Seungri/AR for their losses.
