And now he confessed he did that (we chatted for few months) and I am wondering if I should forgive him. Tbh I feel like a wasted a lot of time on somebody who was pretending to be this handsome guy. Sometimes people have low self-esteem so they do that. Yeah, it sucks he lied about his appereance but I would forget it if he was worth my time. Even after he told me that he lied. then i would say drop him imo He owes you not only an apology (which was fulfilled) but also a picture of how he actually looks like considering he lied to you about such a huge thing. I mean even if you're not planning on meeting him it wouldn't even work out as online friends as he has already deceived you and it's plain weird to do something like, so he's something you can't trust and should stop all contact with him.
