Sooyoung's Wife 3,713 Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 over the past few months i've been having some revelations that've been really sticking with me. i've always really hated myself, i deal with depression and anxiety, on top of untreated adhd, dyslexia, and honestly i wouldn't be surprised if it turned out i have other things that are undiagnosed. my family and financial situation are constantly stressing me out so it's easy to fall into a cloud of negativity and stay there. but i've realized i hate hating myself. i hate always wishing i was someone else, or dead in a ditch, cuz at the end of the day i'm all i have, and i'm the one who'll be with me the rest of my life, so i should to kinder to myself and appreciate who i already am and what i've accomplished even if it think it's very little. maybe all the negative things i think about myself aren't actually true and i'm being blinded by all my despair. this is no way to live. i'm sick of all my self-deprecation. it's toxic not only to myself but to others. so i'm posting this here to hold myself accountable—i'm gonna start loving myself no matter how hard it may be and i think everyone should be kinder to themselves too. i know bts spent like a whole ass year spreading this message, but it never clicked with me until several things in my personal life happened that made me change my mindset. hope yall are loving yourselves too. Even BTS themselves said they're still learning how to love themselves. Nobody is perfect. What's important is now you do recognize that loving yourself is best. One step at a time.
