Do people that tend to share a lot on social media have deeper problems with their lives?

There is always noticeable things I see from people that tend to share a lot on social media. This typically include aspects of their lives, achievements, and what not.

Usually it is more to show people that their lives are better than it seems or that they have insecurities and want people to accept them.

I find people that have a low social media presence to be more better human beings.

this is true. My sis tend to post everything & anything beautiful on her insta and fb but since I know her personally and I know some of insecurities and her problem with her boyfriend, career etc. For me it feels like she's faking her persona & pretending she's extremely happy but in reality she's not & this reminds me of 'You' series on Netflix.

Not really. You can put all the people in the world into a bag. Yeah there are people really insecure who posts a lot on social medias. BUT there are also insecure and nasty people who doesn't even have social medias. You can't really tell.

Though if I’m actually friends with someone online it makes me less inclined to tell them as much too

Yeah me too! I tend to share a bit on Twitter cos I tend to use that as a place to rant about my daily life
