Honestly I like math so I thought physics would be fine but I hate it so much ughh warstarplz.png warstarplz.png

I have my kinematics unit test tomorrow and I was supposed to use it as a chance to redeem myself after a really bad quiz but idt that's going to happen

I like the theory part of it. I'm good at maths too but i hate it.

start picturing theory part of physics with real life scenarios and you ll start loving it too.

I can see where you're coming from, I guess physics is math with the theory and real life components which makes it fun for some people. Unfortunately it's the theoretical part of it that I don't like, I like dealing with just numbers rlytearpls.png

good luck, OP!! I hate bio, but i have to take a science course so i watched a whole bunch of YT videos to help me understand more concepts.

Understandable tbh lol. But the satisfaction from finishing math problems> the actual math :dave:

Well actually I really loved Algebra but geometry made me hate it again and it’s been downhill since then

There is no satisfaction anymore only relief that I passed the class at this point :rlytearpls:

Hate physics. Hated the AP Physics 1 course I took last year partly because the teacher was so ass and couldn't explain anything properly. Plus I wouldn't study for it since I found it difficult to understand. Then I got a 1 on the AP exam for it as expected. Only two others actually passed it in my class.

Thank you though I don't think it will help me much rlytearpls.png Good luck to you in your bio course! Yt vids are always helpful, tbh usually more so than my teachers lol. I hate biology too there's wayy too much memorization. It used to my least fave science, but now physics is.  Queen chemistry remains the best sciencedatassplz.png

Yeah I was never great at geometry

Algebra/ functions is kinda nice sometimes though ohbi.png

and omg don't get discouraged. The satisfaction will be worth it when you realize you didn't even need your horrible teacher

Are you describing me rn  rlytearpls.pngrlytearpls.png Idrk how AP works, it's kind of like the IB where exams are out of 7?

I feel like good physics teachers are hard to come by, mine is terrible at explaining imo. Or maybe I'm just really dumb

Maybe I am lol. AP courses don't require you to be in an IB program and can be taken at any school. You can even take an AP exam without taking the course it is based on. Try studying for the IB exam or whatever to get college credit. Don't be like me last year. Getting credit for that course will be really rewarding especially if you're going into any Engineering major.

Have you studied statistics?

I agree. Chemistry is the central science.
