YNRA 1,082 Posted March 19, 2019 Share Posted March 19, 2019 I'm graduating from uni in a few months I got my degree in something I dont even want to do anymore tbh. But the good thing is I only have 5k of debt. I'm currently home for spring break and man I hate being at home. I hate living with my siblings and my hometown sucks, the people here are trashy and I have no friends here. I have about 10k in the bank. I'm applying to a job to teach in Europe but that position would start in October and I graduate in may. Plus I'm not even sure I'll get the position as I'm still in the interview stages. I don't know if I should stay in my university town (beautiful, have friends here, but expensive) or I should move back home (fcking hate it here lonely, but its free) What should I do ? Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Otherwise you might end up having to go home if things don't go the way you're hoping in October. On the flip side, you could go back home, get a job so you won't have to be home a lot, and use that time to save up money/pay your school debt. You'll also have the added motivation to get your gig in Europe or seek out other options since you'll be wanting to do your best to move the hell out of your parents home asap.
