she was the it girl for longer than miss a existed....just for comparison purposes

its actually probably taeyeon. in 2008-2009, she was unstoppable... well, she still is. but during that era, she was a wall. she set the standard for what a female stan attractor is and can be. her appearances on every variety show caused syndromes, like "we got married". and she especially gained a lot of popularity for her OSTs, "if" and "can you hear me", which both were #1 hits. that really opened doors for her as an up and coming "OST queen". she really did peak in both male fans AND female fans back then.

 

yoona never really had a defining "it girl" era, but she was consistently always popular and always in the public eye. but i will say that 2008-2009 is also the time when yoona became a household name. not only was she everywhere as the center of korea's new national girl group, but she was leading actress in the daily drama "you are my destiny", which had HUGE viewership (peaking at 41% nationwide on cable) and she won TWO best new actress awards for that role on legit drama award shows. which is how yoona became popular not only with younger people but also the older generations as well... she was everywhere including on CFs, and 2009 is when she received an offer to be innisfree's new ambassador, a title that she still carries 10 years later, to this day...

Money-wise I think Suzy is bigger, I mean she is JYP's 2nd biggest money maker for a couple of years. Thats really huge yk, to be the 2nd biggest money maker for big 3 ent company in Korea. None of the other 'it' girls you mention above ever achieve this, I think.
