idk if these are "calming" enough tho
- Let's Have Dinner Together (sometimes the householder's story is just sooo calming to follow. Their stories are often sweet, and meaningful)
- Night Goblin (this show's concept is basically to spend the night without sleeping, but sometimes their topic when the night comes are really calming)
- 2D1N (btw, JJY took a long hiatus from 2016 until... 2017 --if i am not wrong--, so maybe you can watch the episodes without JJY lol)

and this

have you watched hyori's b&b? (since you stan yoona sdoif). it was pretty healing for me

What about drama?

It's totally no-stupid-plot-twists, unnecessary-drama-free, family friendly, light and bright drama "Life is beautiful" from 2011. I still re-watch it :) i watched it like in 3 languages?

Extra info: It was aired on SBS (i guess).

But there are 63 episodes, so don't kill me :)

I hope you'll like it.

I live alone is the most populary variety show in Korea rn and in good reason that shit is funny, touching it's just EVERYTHING. The current cast isn't the one that's been there since the start,, you can start watching from the latest ep since you're watching mindlessly but its really really good. The episode that was released yesterday had me CRYING LAUGHING.

You can watch it here: http://kshow123.net/show/i-live-alone/episode-295.html

I Live Alone is recognized as one of the "Real-Variety" shows in Korean television. The program is unscripted using documentary techniques with variety show elements, and also follows a similar format of reality television programs, familiar to the viewers of Infinite Challenge on same network,[3] and also some audiences in the West. Every Friday night, this program shows selected Rainbow members' everyday lives, both in and out of their residing places. As proclaimed on its official homepage,[4] there are about 5 million singles in South Korea, and about one-third of South Korean entertainers are also in 'single' status. This program is to recollect their daily lives and form its unique sympathies among the singles within South Korea by showing celebrities' lives without significant filtering. Since its beginning, each host of this program gathered to form a club called Rainbow

Handsome celebrities come on the show and show their lives from time to time too. A lot of famous celebs have been on the show.

You can check their wiki page to see who comes on what ep and you can watch based on that too.

Another good one is I can See Your Voice, there has been 6 seasons and they're all subbed - i love that show too.

Yes! I loved it so much haha, it's the 100% perfect healing show. I wish I had never seen it just so I could watch it again lovestruck.png

Thank you! I was thinking about 2D1N but obviously didn't feel like seeing JJY, I never knew he also went on hiatus somewhere in between (though thinking back that seems logical imstupid.png ) so I might try that. The other two you mentioned also sound nice so I think I'll try them if I don't find a 2D1N episode to my liking!

Omg I can't believe this lol, I actually really love that drama laugh.png I only started watching it back then because of the gay storyline, but I really fell in love with all the storylines. It's really nice and comforting right? lovestruck.png I fell in love with Nam Gyu Ri watching it ahmagahplz.png

I personally like I Can See Your Voice

The guests will have to guess which ones are skilled singers vs tone deafs

Here's my favourite performance

Thank you for your rec!! I don't like these kind of audition shows usually but this one sounds a little bit different! amgplz.png
