Honestly I doubt it was because of just that.. I believe someone threaten with a lawsuit. You know Korean defamation laws are trash.

I believe they made the video toward the start of the Burning Sun scandal, when there was a lot of rhetoric. This was when there was only the video of the girl in the club. Then Mr. Kim came out with his story of the club and police, then the girls came out with the story that Mr. Kim was at fault and harnessing them. Now we know the girls were affiliated with the club and lied. I feel like they just dropped the video at the wrong time. VIPs were upset, they thought Seungri was innocent (some still do idontthinksobetchplz.png) they were mad at DKTV for bringing Seungri into it, at the time there were many articles coming out saying that he has "innocent" and that he wasn't directly involved in the club, that he resigned his position, that Mr. Kim was the assaulter, there was a lot of he said, she said. So they did the video, then more evidence happened, VIP's were mad, they didn't want to mislead anyone even though their video was correct.
