I don't really understand how this makes the shooting her fault, but perhaps I'm missing something as I'm not well versed on the issue.

I think the students doing this are not only sad and hurt but also scared and upset with the current issues. 

From my understanding they are not putting all the blame on her but they are trying to say that the words Clinton has put out contribute to the sentiment that fuels these kind of attacks. I'm hesitant to post because there's so much going on here I don't even know enough to butt in too much..

exactly, I may not agree with the methods because now we have Chelsea trending instead of focusing on the names of the people killed in NZ. I understand she was upset and I agree with her being upset but emotions got the best of her and now shes being seen as a terrible person while others come to the aid of Chelsea
