Seungri? I feel a bit sorry for him

Did they just say something? Or was it fart?

-It's very shocking to actually hear people thinking 'illegally and secretly filmed videos' as just porns..

-These are not manipulated..?

-They even showed their faces.. How are they going to live their lfie now..

-I hope you guys would be born as women in your next life..ã… ã…

-Even fart would be offended to hear that..

-I see humans, but not humanity.. This is seriously so sad..

-It's not porn, it's illegal videos.. I'm sure I'm not the only one who actually understands that, right?? Look at them claiming 'illegal videos' as 'porns'..

-You totally understand it?? Even when it was secretly filmed with no consent, and it's illegal??

-Please don't put English subtitle in the videos.. It's really embarrassing..

-Wow.. They're embarrassing the whole country..

-It's not just an average porn..

-Are they Koreans..??

-Filming in secret without any consent, watching it, distributing it = criminal. Seems like there are still a lot of people who fails in understanding this. For you, it may just be sharing videos to your friends, but for the victims.. They would live the rest of their life in trauma..

-The existence of those guys in the picture are harming my life..

-How could they say such bullshit..?

I've watched the video and one thing I HATE is when people take someone's words out of context and try and manipulate it into something negative. NO ONE in that video insinuated that anything about this was OK, or right. They even explicitly stated that they would never even think of doing that themselves.

No one ever said it's alright to do, he simply stated he understands why a man would want to share a video with his friends (he went on to explain men are more horny). He did not cosign at all, just stated why he thinks they did it.

Even the interviewers said not everyone in Korea knows the entire situation so you can't judge them on a 1 minute interview.

Y'all always trying to witch hunt SOMEONE for no reason.

That, precisely, is cosigning.

These guys are fucking idiots and creeps if they think this is the same as watching porn. Just throw all men away at this point.

Let’s start with your favs first.

The first guy said pretty much said he felt sorry for him because business men get away with this creepy shit and Seungri couldn't because he's a celebrity.

That grown ass man pulled a "boys will boys" type shit, "us men are horny and gotta have our porn". He should haven't compared filming and sharing unconsenting women to porn, he wouldn't have gotten backlash for that. That's not the fucking same thing, he might have said that's not something he would do, but he justified Seungri's actions, by watering down the seriousness of the situation.

I watched this video and was so confused at the response from these men like...do they understand the situation?

Also at one point one of the men paused when answering if sharing his own sex videos were ok, what is there to contemplate?

And another guy said its ok for normal people to do it but not okay for public celebrities, like wtf?!

It just shows you this is probably a much bigger problem across Korea.

I'm not surprised at all

People (even here) often go around bashing feminists in general, and go as far as comparing them to nazists like the goddamn fools they are, I hope by seeing this kind of thing happening you see why there are feminists still fighting.

The disrespect and abuse to women, because they are women, comes with spy cams being seen as porn, when in fact they were taking without these women permission, and shared without these women permision, because they are seen as a trophy. Also appears when people need to say "he has a sister/mom, how can they do it" when in fact you shouldn't even think that a man shouldn't be disgusting towards women because they have women in their family, but because women are humans who deserve respect for being humans. It also appears when the media uses a women who was a victim of her husband as the headline, never using his name, but using hers to tell everyone that he is her husband and people joke around it, saying how she is unlucky with men, a victim is only that, unlucky with men. It comes with woment all around the world being constantly cautious about her male friends, her family members, her stepdad.....

I really hope all this situation makes people think more about it.

There's something else in this interview that caught my ears:

"People probably share these videos with their friends as a joke. Both women and men take it really lightly. This happens quite a lot among people I know. It wasn't an big issue then. But because Seungri got caught, this has become a big issue."

I was quite confused when I first watched it and I am still confused if she really is talking about videos like those which have been shared in the group chat. If that's the case then I'm pretty shocked that sharing own sex videos among friends (videos filmed with the consent and knowing of both parties I assume) in Korea is a thing, and also calling it 'a joke'.

Again, as I said, I am confused about this quote, so if anyone wants to clarify it to me, feel free to do so.

From the comments in the video, they added a "clarification":

CLARIFICATION: For those criticizing our male interviewees for their answers on sharing sex videos in private group chats, we can unequivocally state that they were not referring to sharing non-consensual spycam footage. Rather, they were referring to sharing widely available adult content and did not fully appreciate the magnitude of the situation. That said, they still stepped up to provide local insight for our global viewers and should not be criticized. It's extremely difficult to conduct street interviews in Korea (and other Asian countries) because people tend to be camera shy and reserved - we typically spend over 6-7 hours just to be able to secure around 10 sets of people. Please be respectful of our interviewees who were willing to step up to the plate and offer their honest opinions.

Wtf, why didn't the interviewer think of clarifying the situation to them when they started saying dumb shit?? The issue is problematic exactly because it's spy cam and rape videos, sexual acts filmed and shared without consent. Dumbing the issue down to "it's just friends sharing porn" is offensive and does nothing to help the situation. Morons.

It’s great that these people got backlash, and yes it’s really embarassing to be out for international community to watch with correct english subtitle.

If the maker of the video didn’t clarify about the situation, then why the answer between men and women inferviewee could be a total opposite?

yeah honestly i am a fan of this channel but they know they have a big viewer base and their content is usually quite serious. they should have had enough respect for their interviewees to provide clear context that allows them to respond properly.
