[Clarification] "Lee Jonghyun distributed spycams to OTHER chats/celebrities" was never stated nor backed up by SBS + other major news sites

I'd rather not have had to address this matter but it is tiring to see the large amount of baseless speculation which sprouted from the translation of an unreliable source

 

Of note:

  • Only 1 small news website called "Siminilbo" (with 388 Twitter followers) reported about Lee Jonghyun distributing spycams to other chats/celebrities (OTHER as in not the JJY one he is CONFIRMED IN)
  • Their article used a Jonghyun screencap from SBS 8 o'clock news even though this was never actually reported/covered by SBS 8 o'clock news
  • SBS + other major Korean news sources have not reported nor mentioned anything about Lee Jonghyun distributing spycams to other chats/celebrities
  • Only IFANS are talking about/spreading this, not Koreans (simply because the English Twitter translation of the "Siminilbo" article became popular with thousands of RTs

and didn't he share pictures anyway ?

Sources for what exactly. The op is saying there is no other source that said that he shared it to other celebs other than that one article, not that there were no videos. 

 

I've seen articles stating he shared content with other people in chats. All I'm asking for is articles debunking that like OP says.

i don't think op is denying the fact that he was part of the major chat but there was this one report which claimed that he, in 1:1 chats w/ other idols/actors/solo artists, distributed material and i guess that is what op is trying to debunk?

Okay, this is actually confusing. What I took from the OP is that the news of Jonghyun spreading those spy cams in group chats outside of the ones with JJY only has one source. OP isn't saying that he wasn't part of the original group chat.

 

I think this thread was made to advice users to stop speculating about every idol under the sun being guilty of sharing or viewing spy cams in group chats hosted by Jonghyun himself because there's only one source claiming that he's in a separate group chat. 

 

In other words, stop making wild speculations about Chanyeol and other idols/artists watching or sharing spy cams when there's no evidence that they did aside from them being friends. Jonghyun has many friends in the industry. That doesn't mean that every celebrity who breathes next to him is guilty by association.
