Singer Jung Joonyoung's lawyer wrote a false statement at the time of the incident of his ex-girlfriend Molca in 2016, SBS reports.

On SBS '8 News' reveals on the 14th "Jung Joon Young's lawyer confirmed that he wrote 'false statement' at the time of his ex-girlfriend's case before 2016."

Jung Joon Young received a summoning notice after he was sued by his ex-girlfriend for filming hidden cameras in 2016. After that, he decided to give his phone to a private forensic company.

Jung Joon Young did not submit his cell phone to the police. His side also demanded that the forensic company do not pursue the task claiming that "the victim has dropped her charges against him". SBS reveals that they have demanded the forensic company to "embellish it saying it's impossible to perform forensics on this case".

When the forensic company did not agree with the proposition, Jung Joon Young's lawyer submitted a false written statement to the police. The police commented, "We received a reply from the company claiming it wasimpossible to restore the mobile phone's data, and that the phone was broken (lost) so it was impossible to submit it." 
But forensic companies have repeatedly confirmed that they have never replied that it is impossible to back up the phone.

An independent lawyer Mr. Bang Junghyun criticized the event saying "They (forensic company) have never issued the confirmation, yet they (JJY's side) released the papers as if they have confirmed it"

Eventually, the case was concluded without any charge.

The lawyer's spokesperson Huyoon said, "It is possible to take disciplinary against that lawyer in accordance with the law for forgery of official documents."

SBS side tried to contact Jung Joon Young's lawyer several times, but said that he cannot be contacted

This is why I can’t blame every single person in the industry who knew about their existence. Many of them have tried to report, but corrupt police’s word was against them. I’m digging up statements from my biases (I’m a girl groups stan) and I think many of them knew but were afraid. Comments like “I don’t want my sister/future daughter to join the celebrity world†are omnious.

so the forensics company never got the phone, but the lawyer lied and told the police that they did...did the police never talk to the forensics company for affirmation? they just let jjy's side be the middleman despite the fact he was being investigated? seems incompetent at best, negligent at worst.

No the lawyer falsify official forensic documents and gave that to the police.

 

Now the police could have reach out to the forensic department to verify the authenticity of the paper, but they didn't for whatever reason we don't know unimpressed.png . So it's the police, not the forensic team.

On August 22, 2016, the police officer called the forensics company and asked, “Since we’re working on the case, there’s something that’s a bit complicated. Jung Joon Young told us that he left the data here. Doesn’t it take some time? He admitted it himself anyways, and we don’t have much time, so I wanted to ask, since the device is old and worn-out, if you could write us a confirmation letter stating that the data was unable to be restored for the data confirmation results.â€

 

In response to the police officer, the forensics company replied, “The work we do is like that, so there should be some type of procedural action. I also have to state why [the data cannot be restored], so I don’t know about [this request].†Upon being rejected, the police concluded the investigation before receiving the data.

When SBS met with the police officer in question, he stated, “This is the first time I’m hearing the words ‘data unable to be restored.’ It’s unheard of for the investigator in charge [of a case] to ask a private company for something like that. [The investigation] is still in progress.â€

 

SBS then brought out proof of his involvement in the situation as they played the recorded tape over for him. The police officer commented, “It’s true that that’s me making the call, but it wasn’t a situation for me to say something to that extent.†He also stated that he did not remember the situation, and that during the time, they were not given the cell phone. He then asked, “Am I in a quite awkward position right now?â€imstupid.png

When an idol/celebrity gets in trouble, pay the police, pay the victim, apologise for any wrong doing, live to fuck up another day. Classic move, no matter where you at.

Pannchoa article doesn't even state that JJY lawyer ADMITS to creating false statement.

In fact article states that "SBS side tried to contact Jung Junyoung's lawyer several times, but said that he cannot be contacted".
