Sooyoung's Wife 3,713 Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 so i was going down a rabbithole when i came across this video and i was like... this can't be an actual thing on twitter, so i go and search the #sasaenglife tag on twitter and there's so many tweets of sasaengs selling private info of these idols https://twitter.com/search?q=%23sasaengfan&src=tyah i don't think i've been so disturbed like this in such a long time. i saw things i wish i hadn't. i've known sasaengs have had their own communities for years, but what shocks me most is the fact that twitter is just letting these stalkers trade personal info and sell it to equally obsessed fans. realistically, most of the "info" they're selling is probably fake just to feed into what obsessed fans wanna hear/see, but i just can't believe people are enabling them like this. there shouldn't be such an easily accessible community like this. and judging from the posts i'm seeing, many of them treat this as if trading personal info is a game, or like they're some kind of person in a position of power. i'm disgusted. these people need professional help. thots? True sasaengs are stalkers who take pleasure in the 'exclusivity' they have in their relation with idols. They don't go around looking for info from various group other than their faves to make money. These accounts are mostly people who gather informations, blind items from various communities (apparently mostly weibo, as it the easiest to access and absolutely wild when it comes to celebrity gossips) and the most random unsourced rumor (hence the many items on private and sexual matters) to sell them. They also tend to communicate with each to check if they have valuable information (like legit phone numbers, email or private sns accounts) or exchange rumors. They never have a lot of followers, most of them actually switch account when they gain to much exposure because they don't want to be targetted by fans if they blow up. They never write names in their tweet to avoid appearing in researches, but they are actually easy to find and yes, there are MANY of them. They're trash. But please avoid sharing this kind of thing on big platforms because the last thing we want is for naive and extreme fans to get curious and contact them for 'tea'. Report in silence. Report in silence. ugh, i wish i hand't stumbled across this whole community. figured most of the info were just rumors. and yeah, i won't be posting any more about this since i think the best solution is to not give these people attention. i was just so outraged and wondered if anyone else knew about this. ducklicker 254 Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 honestly it's kinda sick how common it is. ppl will actually gain follower/attention if they say they're saesang. reminds me of this allkpop thread where op was like 'here all the info i got from saesangs' and there where literally pages of replies asking for more info/detail and no one pointing out how obviously fake the rumors where or that saesang info should be disregarded all together or than op was being skeezy by searching out this info in the first place. some ppl really need to learn boundaries when it comes to celebs & learn not to trust everyone just cause they say they have connection or w/e.
