Popular YouTuber Korean Englishman takes down all videos with Jung Joon Young, his close friend of 16 years

Josh Carrott, a popular YouTuber known as the Korean Englishman, erased all signs of Jung Joon Young on his channel. 

 

Jung Joon Young and Josh have revealed they're close friends of 16 years. The singer has frequently appeared in Josh's YouTube videos, and the two also appeared on tvN's 'Salty Tour' together as close mates. 

 

However, following the controversial hidden camera news reports on Jung Joon Young, all videos starring the singer has been taken down from Korean Englishman's YouTube channel. 

 

Korean Englishman provided an explanation on the deletion and emphasized he has no relation to Jung Joon Young's controversy. His statement reads as follows:

 

"Everyone, after coming across the news yesterday, I've decided to take down the content with Jung Joon Young because I believe it's not right to maintain videos on YouTube that viewers might be uncomfortable with.

 

 

Many assumptions have been made regarding my actions. I've decided to post this to provide a clear explanation for those with unnecessary concerns!

 

 

 

I am here to clearly state I have no relation to this case. I appreciate all those who showed concerns and were shocked in the confusing situation!

 

 

 

I will greet again tomorrow with the mom series that many of you greatly love!!"

I watch his videos and he seems to be a proper English gentleman and his mum looks to be super strict with her kids' upbringing..

 

Even though we will never know but I have always felt that his and JJY's conversations never really got too deep..? It's like they're casual friends despite knowing each other for years. Probably closer when they're like teens in China back then.

They didn't go to the same school , the UK dude went to a school with well behaved students while JJY went to a nearby school filled with rebels that smoke/drink.

I think that's a sensible decision for Josh to make.

 

Smh at the people who are likely hearing about Josh and Jung Joon Young's relationship for the first time, and throwing BS around and acting like they know all there is to know about Josh. They went to different high schools in China. They became friends. Jung Joon Young moved back to Korea and Josh moved back to the UK. Josh studied abroad in Korea for one year, and goes back there to film some videos a couple times a year. They obviously kept in touch, but it's not like they were super close friends. Josh has clearly mentioned who his childhood best friends were, and they aren't Jung Joon Young.

 

It's been mentioned numerous times who Jung Joon Young's closest friends are (Seungri, Choi Jong Hoon, Roy Kim, etc.), and Josh has his own close circle of friends (Dan, Joel, Andy, Sho, Ollie, Michael Wicker, etc.).

While it is possible he knew and you guys are right, nothing is really indicating that yet.

 

You guys are presenting a bunch of association fallacies in your post (in this case Guilt by Association). 

JJY has admitted to committing many heinous crimes. X person was friends with JJY. Thus X person also committed such crimes. It doesn't really work that way and can be a slippery slope.

I’m not saying he committed any crimes. Or even that he knew about the webcams. I’m saying he hung out enough with him to know exactly he talked about and treated women and chose to continue doing so. I wouldn’t condemn someone for having terrible friends, but I’m certainly questioning their judgment and side-eyeing them severely. If you have friends you know feel stealing is no big deal and get caught in the fallout when they get arrested for robbing a bank I don’t feel bad for you. Even if you didn’t know about the bank, you knew it was possible.

Jung Joon Young probably kept that part of himself away from him doesn’t seem like they hung out enough like that to get that deep, seems like hung out from time to time not like Joon Young did with the ones who keep getting mentioned.
