Maybe he truly didn't know? I mean, how would he know Jonghoon is in sex criminals gc? And after being wrongfully accused and witchhunted for a day, he has every right to deal with it how he seems fit. Do you really think that that Choi would just go around and tell his band mates about it, he knows it's something that should not be revealed and he most likely kept it a secret, maybe his band mates suspected something shady but they can't do anything about it because they are not sure
