ducklicker 254 Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 no. i don't use my phone while eating since i don't want it to get dirty and if i'm hanging out with friends i'm likely talking to them. i think it helps that i didn't get a phone until adulthood so it's not rly a habit for me to check my phone unless i'm alone. Around people I'm not really familiar, if it's an important discussion, I'd rather stare at my phone, unless prompted to join. When it's not, I'll try to get into the talk instead- don't wanna be the one who dgaf to surroundings really- not a good impression. With family? I'll try to keep my phone away as much as possible. Family always in priority for me. With bffs? DGAF lmaoo- but yeah we're just converse while phubbing since the conversations gonna relate to the stuff we're checking in phone anyway-- unless a different matters usually we automatically put down our phone and talks.
