Like why t f, did you spent your parent's/your heartearned money to buy a ticket for a concert/fanmeeting/music festivals, but when you're at the venue, you just there, and recorded most, if not all the performance/songs they performed at that time?

I just watched Paramore's recorded performance when they had a concert here in my country months ago, and I was watching them performing Ignorance, and I expected them to at least screamed at the "NO!" part, but it's not as loud as I expected, and some1 in the comment said that "We, the audiences at the back had a mass karaoke when this played, but those from the front row seems like they're too busy recording lmao" souleyesplz.png souleyesplz.png souleyesplz.png

"BuT w3 r3C0rdEd tH1s s0 w3 c4n h4Ve a Mem0raB1LiA fr0m tH3 C0nc3rt, anD--" no, you're not, you just record it so you can flex it to your friends and relatives. Don't agree?fite me

AND, YOU KNOW WHAT? YALL ARE SO SELFISH, YALL DIDN'T CARE ABT US MIDGETS WHO WANTS TO ENJOY THE CONCERT.

I mean it might be the only concert their parents will let them go too. So we don't know everyone situation to judge it like that to judge and say they are wrong for it.

When I go to concerts, I sometimes record certain songs but I, of course, spend my own money and I upload the video in my DropBox.

Thats a lot of sentiment for others peoples behavior. What does it matter what others do if it ain't impacting you?

People enjoy things differently. I personally don't record anything or take pictures cause I like to live in the moment but others might do otherwise. Careless about what others do around you and you'll have a better time.

This. Why do people care so much about how others enjoy things? lol It's not my money or time they are wasting, so I don't care. I only get annoyed if they are blocking my view with their phones, other than that I don't give a shit if they see the entire concert through their phone screen lol

I can't get why you got negged but I agree.

People just forgot how to enjoy "now and here".

You can't have a memory of anything just by recording if you didn't live it.

I disagree I have memories of ones I never took pics at just as much as ones that I took some pics and vids at, people are different.

In my case, I only record the first verse and chorus of some of my favourite songs and turn off my phone camera for the rest of the concert so I can enjoy both. By doing that, I can experience seeing my faves' faces directly without seeing them through the lens of a camera (because it doesn't do them justice) but at the same time, a minute-long live footage of their stages helps me remember my experience and how I felt at the time if I look back on this event in 3 months. I'd often play back some of the little clips I took at BTS' concert to relive those moments even if I also posted them on social media to flex to my friends and family. It's not mutually exclusive.

ikr i hate that. the last concert i went to it impacted me because i'm short and they obv tried to get the best angle so they lift their phones and tablets as high as possible so instead of looking at the singer directly i could only watch the singer through their screens. it also affected the atmosphere, i think, because people would be focused on their screens instead of directly looking at the performance and have fun. i remember some artists even asked the audience to put their phones down.

May be the key point here is taking SOME pics versus taking video of the whole damn event :)

Anyway, I prefer to live the moment directly than living through camera lenses. Otherwise I'd just sit at home and watch DVD.

May be I'm too old to understand it?

May be it's smth about Millenials and Generation Z.

Tbh I don’t understand it, sometimes you have to live in the moment. I went to a BEP concert and I don’t even have a picture I was just so excited from dancing being on the floor and interacting with the members. It was amazing
