DC or Marvel?

I kinda feel like a DC elitist in a world full of Marvel worshippers, so let's do a census

 

for me, it's overall DC

 

Movies: Definitely Marvel, they've established a great universe through the help of Disney, looking forward to Endgame next month. Though the DCEU's future is looking bright with Shazam (my most anticipated movie of this year), Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, James Gunn's Suicide Squad and the whole soft reboot over at WB.

 

Comics: DC, I like DC's artists more than the current artists at Marvel, also DC currently has a limited series (Heroes in Crisis) on the issue of where do superheroes do when they get PTSD, depression etc. I really like this concept and wish that more comic books would cover issues like this in the future. 

 

Games: DC, as I haven't played much marvel games and the Batman Arkham series and Injustice are such great games  I've heard the Spiderman PS4 game is good and hope to get my hands on it on the future...

 

Animation: DC, I grew up on shows like Teen Titans and Justice League Unlimited, they've also created a whole animated universe through Young Justice and their animated films, and a lot of those movies are solid. Though I did like Spiderverse (which is technically a Sony product) and Avengers Assemble, I don't usually like marvel animated TV shows as much as WB/DC.

 

Heroes/Villains: idk probably DC, I tend to like DC heroes bc of some of their tragic backstories, (Batman and his parents, Superman the sole survivor of a genocide, etc.) and have some of my favourite Superheroes (Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, Jon Stewart Green Lantern, Constantine, etc.), though I do how Marvel tends to give their heroes some humanity and doesn't just make them some untouchable being like Superman or Wonder Woman. Batman's rogues' gallery alone trumps Marvels villains... 

 

TV: DC, I like the way DC is headed with the CW Arrowverse and DC Universe and Fox with Gotham. As for Marvel, I liked Daredevil and was sad to see it go...

When I was little I was a DC fan, but not as an adult I am obsess with Marvel. I literally got into Marvel like last year though and now I am just Marvel everything. I do prefer Marvel heroes though. Even when I was a DC fan I never had any of the heroes that I super super love.

I'm kind of biased because I grew up with Marvel and it's still my favorite thing All of my favorite heroes are from them, and they also make my favorite movies.

 

I would choose Marvel over DC for all the categories, except for comics and games because I've never read or played any from DC (so it's kind of weird to compare when I don't know). But as far as the movies go, the MCU is amazing and I also love Deadpool and the old X-men movies. Most of the comics I've read were great (especially x-men) and I loved playing their games (Spiderman, Ultimate Alliance, X-men Legends, Lego Marvel, etc.). I also love their shows, especially Daredevil I even used to wish I could be part of the x-men as a kid  I could go on forever about how much I love Marvel tbh

 

I'm not a big fan of DC, but I do like the Teen Titans and I want to see Shazam since it seems fun.

DC has done the best but also the worst in terms of movies

Marvel have always been average to good to me

Never read comics but Batman is on whole another level of cool ,I don't find such character in marvel

 

I would choose neither or choose both bcos I enjoy good movies or content from both universe

I grew up with and loved DC cartoons. But Marvel has really won me over with their movies and Netflix shows now, whereas the DCU and the horrible CW shows has somehow managed to ruin some DC characters for me  So for me it's Marvel.

If only Nolan's Batman trilogy was a part of dceu's and served as a starting point, it would have been much better. I only watched movies, so Marvel for me.

Film: For films, Marvel is better overall even though The Dark Knight is better than any MCU film

 

Comics: I don't follow comics very closely but for the few runs that I have read I find that DC is better

 

Animation: DC has a pretty solid track record of animated films dating back to Mask of the Phantasm, some of the recent stuff is hit or miss but it's mostly okay. Whereas the only good animated Marvel film I can think of is Into The Spiderverse.

 

TV: Every DC show I've tried to watch is shot, acted and scripted like B-rate garbage, the Netflix Marvel shows (barring Defenders and Iron Fist) are really good on the other hand, Charlie Cox as Daredevil is as good and instantly iconic as RDJ as Iron Man tbh
