The response of a PRISTIN member when asked about sharing private content.

And she is... Eunwoo, Jung Eunwoo.

HIgh: "Eunwoo-ya is it OK to upload videos elsewhere?

Someone has uploaded them on Twitterã… "

EW: "For now these videos are just for HIghs" ♡ â™¡ ♡

I believe it is time for me to take the matter into my own responsibility.

People may know that a few of PRISTIN have found a way to keep in contact with their fandom (HIgh) despite Pledis presumed to have put some form of SNS prohibition upon the girl group as they have not communicated via fancafe, for months. It has only been since recently that the members themselves have secretly been doing fanservice for those who mean the most to them and nobody else; where they talk about things, share selcas - be it newest or ancient, voice recordings, video clips but of which are always meant to be kept between ourselves is the ones seen in the screenshot at the bottom of the page.

There have been many instances where other fans have told her that others have spread the private content throughout the internet. Understandably so, she said these materials should exclusive remain as something that they (PRISTIN & HIgh) cherishes together.

We know there was a Reddit post earlier over the week that got a lot more traffic than expected specifically due to the fact that the content itself involved a girl group who is being locked within the dungeon of an incompetence of a company in spite of winning rookie awards back in 2017, not once but in three occasions.

Thankfully though, the original owner who uploaded the very first video deleted it.

However, I have seen people on this forum take poor attempts at trying to make the whole "privacy" aspect that involves a female idol group and their devoted loved ones whom have suffered almost as much as them emotionally, through, of course, guess what? Clickbait titles. Shocking, I know.

Please refrain yourself from such act.

The whole situation is difficult to consume on a daily basis.

There is no reason to add salt to the wound further.

I hope I was able to convey my thoughts so all of the unnecessary stuff no longer happens.

If you have a minute to spare, share this tweet so it circulates for gaining traction.

this is honestly so sad, the simple fact that the girls were prohibited from sns and now have to do this is just so...pledis really is shitty

But if PLEDIS is not promoting them, can't they ask a termination of contract. I mean as much as I like them, even tho I'm not on their fandom.

If the company is not promoting them, not giving them work, how do they get paid to live?

Tell that to kaeun

Depends on what is in your contract. If it was that easy, Shannon, Lee Hi, Kaeun, etc wouldnt be suffering for years.

I think there is a difference. Even with the three mentioned there has been no effort to stop them from interacting with fans or using social media. Shannon, Lee Hi and Kauen all have active personal instagrams even though they are idle. As I said on the Pristin thread - even the worse Korean music agencies one could think off the top of their head - say The Entertainment Pascal (TEP) who managed Stellar, TS who managed BAP and Sonamoo or MBK (DIA, T-ara, so much others) never do this enforced complete social media blackout to their artists.

Pristin do not post on Twitter/Naver/Instagram (though some intern apparently updates on birthdays), they do not do VLives (which used to be common for them) and in the last year the scattered ones they did have were solo without any other members. All of that cost Pledis ZERO won. Yet they are not allowed to do any of it. They do no even do the minimum things "idle" or "on hiatus" groups do like Season's Greetings videos or Tweets (as Brave Girls or Good Day did).

They do not go on variety shows, they do not do festivals, they do not have any CFs (except Kyulkung and that only in China) despite having 2 IOI members and a potential "It" Girl (Xiyeon) who hosted one of the major music shows for about a year. Even when Xiyeon graduated SOPA (a performance arts high school!) she was not acknowledged as an "active" idol, nor do did Pledis send someone, nor did any of the members formally see her to congratulate as is common (Sungyeon/Shannon sneaked in, but was clearly not by Pledis's design). The members clearly want to be active with their fandom but for some reason Pledis orders not to do anything or even be seen.

After debut, one single group comeback, and a sub-group comeback they have completely disappeared. For a reminder this was a group that performed at MAMA in 2017 and won several Rookie of the Year awards.

It is all so bizarre. I feel so bad for the girls.

Cj e&m might have gotten pledis to sign a non compete clause as part of their arrangement to have pledis help manage izone and fromis. So pristin really would be cucked if thats the case.

If this could be proven, the Pristin members and their families could sue. That would mean CJ (a major Chaebol) is deliberately destroying their livelihood in their prime idol years. But I doubt anything like that is on paper.
