But I listened to Meri Kuri so damn much that I became a BoA fan and then went back and listened to her other stuff and then eventually to her Korean releases and then to Kpop overall. Got into kpop and jpop from the students who would bring CDs or VHS recordings of performances. LOL I remember sitting with this girl named Su who lived with us for 5 months, ever night she'd watch me and study and we'd watch her old Music Camp recordings she brought with her.
