I've had two boyfriends, but it's hard to find amongst the amount of gay men just wanting to get it in. I think a lot of gays are trying to make up for their lack of relationship/sex experience when they were in high school by doing it in their late teens and 20s. 25%Cotton 7,133 Posted March 8, 2019 Share Posted March 8, 2019 being an introverted gay who lives abroad in a non-english-speaking country is also weird, because you WILL NOT meet other gay people organically and have to resort to apps/clubs if you want to meet someone. really not my scene, but i have no choice. and like... as a foreigner people expect me to be more wild, selfish, confident, and sexually experienced... huh. end up staying home 99% of the time. doesn't help that one of the guys i hooked up with before was basically like "oh~~ you are so bad~~ what a bad boy~~" the whole time... --- anyway, i was EXTREMELY lucky to meet my boyfriend, who i've been with for nearly a year and a half. to be honest, neither of us was necessarily looking for a long-term relationship when we met, and we were both honest about that, but we talked about our hopes and ambitions early on (i was able to relax by being all "well fuck it, who cares anymore") and just kinda stuck together.
