Are BTS more popular now (in America) than the Jonas Brothers 10 years ago??

Without a doubt BTS is the most successful ASIAN artiste to ever grace American soil. They defied expectations and beat the odds. Nowadays, it's hard to find any Asian American or alternative American girl that doesn't know/stan South Korea's NATIONAL BG.

It's no use anymore to compare them to their K-POP contemporaries. I can only see them going up from here, but do you think they've at least surpassed the JoBros?? Discuss. smile.png

Jonas Brothers is a household name. They were very popular, if you ask anyone if they know the Jonas Brothers, they will say Yes and maybe even name Nick Jonas or Joe Jonas.

So, no. BTS isn't as POPULAR or WELL KNOWN as the JoBros in their prime.

I don't really remember seeing The Jonas Brother's anywhere except on the Disney Channel, so I would say BTS is more popular (I literally only knew about The Jonas Brothers because of Camp Rock).

But all y'all saying BTS are bigger/have better music than The Beatles are making the rest of us look bad and I really hope you don't say this out loud to actual people.

Jonas brother for public and Bts for fandom.

I'm not sure about that. If album sales are truly what indicates fandom then BTS definitely does not have a bigger American fandom than peak JB had. Just compare their highest selling albums in the states so far.

Highest selling JB album - 2,409,000 (US only)

Love Yourself : Tear - 212,953 (US only)

JB were pretty huge in the US.

This. Plus, JB had public recognition.

I can't deal with the delusion throughout this thread.

I'm not sure if this is a troll question but no. As much as I love BTS, they are not as popular as the JoBros were in their prime.

They were super popular, at least to me. Every girl I knew had a Jonas Brothers poster and Burnin' Up was playing everywhere.
