Now free from the black cloud of negative press   manufactured to turn the world against her in the mid 00s, the performer has enjoyed a return to prominence with her critically lauded ‘Unbreakable’ and the tours she forged to celebrate its release. These, being the ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ and its follow-up….the ‘State of the World Tour.’  

 

 

Janet Jackson is at her absolute best, and largely unparalleled in pop music, when she funnels direct, declarative messages into her songs.

I actually went to her concert from this tour and enjoyed myself

She still has lots of energy, doing intense choreo at age 50

It was a good time

It's so sad how America totally dropped her over a wardrobe malfunction while Justin Timberlake got 0 backlash from the public, nor the white men who run radio and TV. It was totally ageist, sexist and racist the treatment she got. 

 

$44m is a large tour gross, but you have to image that if the 2004 Superbowl didn't happen she would be grossing much more. Queen of Pop!
