Do you actually like Girl Scout cookies?

It's the cookie season so they are everywhere. I've never never understood the hype. They're not good cookies, even for store bought ones. 

 

Even when I was a kid with a big sweet tooth, I ate them but I never felt "indulged" by them

Only like Thin Mints. They are way overpriced. My old boss used to buy them for business hype purposes. That was the only time I ate them because they were free.

only the samoas/caramel delites/whatever they're called now. the other ones can kick rocks, they're so nasty. i feel like they are grandma cookies. which is funny because my grandma was the main one in the family we all bought them for.

some of them are really bomb. I don't buy them myself so I don't remember which... i think they're chocolate peanut butter? holy fuck they are so good.

 

i think they genuinely are good cookies because... recently my friend gave me a box of girl scout shortbread cookies and I'm not even a fan of shortbread but i took them because free cookies. then i ate the whole box in a day because they were fucking delicious lol maybe I was just high but I was genuinely surprised that I found plain shortbread cookies so damn delicious. or maybe i'm just getting old and developing grandma tastes

Also like they're for a more or less good cause and you make some kids happy by buying them and they're not revolutionary as far as cookies go but they're a classic so yeah I quite liked them when I was in the states. I always bought a bunch from my boss' daughter then gave them around to friend it made the kid so happy too.

Also cookies depend on which baking company makes them, and there are two: ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers. If the Girl Scouts in your area are selling Tagalongs, Samoas, or Do-Si-Dos, they get their cookies from Little Brownie Bakers. If they're selling Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, or Lemonades, then that means their cookies are from ABC Bakers.

i like the thin mints and the peanut butter cookies but my mom and i found a local store's knockoff version that's sold year round and they taste exactly the same for way cheaper
