I didnt know that i do think that bts are being overworked but i personally dont think they are being pushed as hard as twice. twice had way too many comebacks in 2018 and they really deserve a break at this point. Specialsnowflakes 381 Posted March 2, 2019 Share Posted March 2, 2019 -2006-2008 TVXQ -2014-2015 BTS (some of them even getting sick and hospitalized at that time) -A lot of SM's Chinese idol -Any group who makes more than 2 Korean comebacks per year or have 3 months or more promotion period while doing extensive touring/other country's comeback or promotion at the same year -When the workload doesn't equal the pay or when idol getting Paid Less Than they're Supposed To Get ( i think this can lead to the feeling of being overworked as well) Yk, there are Idols who were overworked at one point in their career, but later on they have a more relaxed or empty schedule. For example - EXO : I remember back then EXO member being overworked and almost faint on stage is such a hot issue, but now.... well you can see yourself -SNSD : During their busy year they can fly back to back to 3 or 4 different countries in a month for tour, promotion and stuff. But 2016 onwards... We are lucky if we at least get 1 group comeback -BTS : Right now they already stopped making a follow up MV (like Dope, WOH) and stopped doing extended promotion for the album. They also cut the promotion time from 3-4 weeks to just 1 week now. They also actively releasing repackage now which is less time consuming imo than releasing a freshly new album with a whole new songs in it. I'm not going to be surprised if 2020 onwards they're going to have just 1 group comeback per year. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Next is BTS but I think it's because some members are always working on behind the scenes (e.g composing). They're also having a lot of concert dates, record for some DVDs, run BTS, they just have a lot of contents in general besides performing on events. I find more concerning when idols overwork themselves though. Wonho always had this habit since predebut during no.mercy when he would spend his whole night preparing his performance. 2 days ago he was hospitalized then the next day he was back performing on stage and he seemed in pain. He said later it was due the outfit but you never know. At least he was there to get the trophy on his birthday, but as fans its really worrisome, sometimes he shouldn't push himself so hard.
