1. This is interesting. Produce Camp should be able to get popular. Looking forward to Alec Su, a talent like him really fits the title of mentor. The mentors next door are like a joke. [+6798]

Response: Sun Yixing [T/N: derogatory nickname for Zhang Yixing] is really like a joke. [+5048]

Response: Those talking about Zhang Yixing, are you kidding me? He's not there to be a mentor. A PD is not the same thing as a mentor...the mentors are Jolin Tsai and MC Jin and Li Ronghao emmmm [+4297]

Response: There is no problem with the mentors next door, it's just that the PD think of himself as a mentor...[+3714]

2. This lineup d_chijing-f4f9e95da7.pngd_chijing-f4f9e95da7.pngd_chijing-f4f9e95da7.png Powerful! [+6691]

Response: It feels like Tencent is never lacking money [+1517]

Response: F*ck. Aaron Kwok????? [+1273]

3. Zhang Yixing's antis are really f*cking terrifying. What does the official announcement for Produce Camp have to do with you, what are you doing here smearing him? [+2522]

4. Confessing to the youngest teacher, Tiger Hu. d_aini-2b6c9354c7.pngd_aini-2b6c9354c7.pngd_aini-2b6c9354c7.png [+1742]

This sh*tshow last year was lucky they could ride off the buzz created by Yang Chaoyue and Wang Ju. Who they get as mentors is insignificant if the foundation of the show is rotten. Looks like they're banking on all these past idols, big name contestants to bring all their fans to watch.

Yang Chaoyue, Wang Ju, and they even manage to create controversies after controversies even after the group debuted lol!

Tbh though, this show should be successful just on the huge star power of the mentors alone (these are bigger names than the collective mentors from last year), which actually reminds me a lot of The Voice US. But whether or not the group itself will be successful is another story, though knowing Tencent they can do anything to 'create' success.

How was it a sh*tshow??

The show was 90% Tencent media playing from the beginning, and 10% about actually making a girl group.

And even when Rocket Girls debuted, they don't even have 50% of your average K-pop group.

Tencent blew up the controversy and drama, loved the issue-making topics. And they manipulated rankings for drama and to line their pockets. There was no cap on the amount of votes fans could buy. Tencent purposefully placed certain contestants in dangerous rankings to milk fans for money, even sending mass texts out to those fans alerting them of the ranking. Then, still eliminating them or giving them a lower ranking than the reality. It's commonly accepted that the final ranking results don't accurately match the girls' actual popularity. And Tencent had their 3 contestants they gunned for who don't actually have such a strong base of fan support. Not to mention the messy contracts between Tencent and the individual companies which affected the final lineup and caused tons of post-show drama.

Who are these 3 girls???

Aojuan, Yamy, Ziting. They safely made it through the whole show within comfy rankings but their fan support numbers are nowhere near the 4th 5th and 9th places they ended up in. To give them some benefit of the doubt, possibly their respective fanbases would have been able to buckle down and rally large numbers if Tencent hadn't given them such a comfortable ride. But tbh, I especially doubt it could have happened for Ziting. She had great stages but she just doesn't seem to have much stan attractor factor.

Ziting is pretty and talented but I still pissed how she was in final group and not Kimberley and Lucia. For me Kim and Lu had more charisma. Same Wang Ju.

Yamy is good rapper but I felt how she was pushed a lot by Tencent.

Aojuan is talented but she always resulted me boring and meh.

Chaoyue is talentless but has star factor.

But the final 11 fit more with the Tencent's ambitions.
