It's vicious circle basically. While I agree there needs to be more coverage about SOPA scandal, it's not like Seungri had some minor scandal like drunk driving or sth, but rather is in the centre of numerous crimes. It's not like he hurt only himself, but a lot more people around him, so his Facebook, Twitter and Weibo fans need to be given a reality check. They're dying trying to defend him and constantly mention ''How about SOPA scandal???''  The sad thing is that they don't give two shits about those students, but rather just desperately want to defend this guy.

They even had a nerve to mention Jonghyun and said ''So, they want another suicide now?'' I am utterly disgusted.

P.S. I'm sorry if there are thousands of topics like this here, I don't really follow this site, so if this 1001st (th?) topic bothers you, forgive me. I just wanted to express my opinion

even if it was true is SOPA  ACTUALLY that big of a deal to destroy an important group like BIGBANG over? surly they could have just thrown some other smaller artist under the bus or release dating photos of a couple

The very idea that Korean media is using Seungri to cover up the SOPA scandal is ridiculous, when Naver has been taking down articles left and right. Seungri's articles have comments with 40k upvotes, yet his name doesn't show up in the search engines or on the front page of Naver. Much more insignificant "scandals" like the BTS plagiarism accusation, or Lovelyz swearing, did however.

Why do you think that is? Maybe it has something to do with Naver being the second biggest shareholder in YG after Yang Hyun Suk himself? They've done everything in their power to make this whole thing go away, but it won't, because people are genuinely livid about this situation.

This is so much bigger than a lot of you seem to process. This isn't your run of the mill Dispatch dating rumor. We're talking organized crime and police bribery of astronomical proportions.

I would love to drag any kpop fan that dares to bring up Jonghyun and his struggles and death to shield thier faves fuck up. I hate when people do that shit so much. I consider it very disrepectful as hell. Jjong's tragedy is'nt a sheild for folk's fave's fuck up.

seeing how hes already proved to be innocent in 2 of the accusations(balloon drug and chat), shows that the worst accusations were wrong, so you can stop acting as if hes guilty.

its obvious, that sopa is a huge case and how they even had someone in the media being able to divert the attention to a big name celebrity, in hope that ppl would forget about sopa. and how they see that his investigations are going smoothly, they already made the media attack another celebrity...

you can say whatever you want, sopa obviously has a lot of victims and the criminals behind it, are obviously some very big names, otherwise the media would have been all over the school the moment the first idol students came out of it, risking their futures...but the media didnt talk really about this case, except youtube and social media, there wasnt much about it.
