"underpaid" is really the wrong word to use because they are not underpaid. Yes they are not paid as much as Korean and Chinese actors and actresses though. Nice to see Kawaei Rina somewhere on the list, shes doing a lot better than other former akb48 members

I'm not surprised, despite the pays not being as high as other countries, the dramas still hugely suffer from most of the money being used to pay the actors at the cost of the overall production quality.

Yes, the reason why Korean celebs are so well paid compared to the size of the domestic market is because high export values which makes up a huge part of the revenue.
