A good manga (also getting an anime this Spring) is Kimetsu no Yaiba and the description:

Since ancient times, rumors have abounded of man-eating demons lurking in the woods. Because of this, the local townsfolk never venture outside at night. Legend has it that a demon slayer also roams the night, hunting down these bloodthirsty demons. For young Tanjirou, these rumors will soon to become his harsh reality...

Ever since the death of his father, Tanjirou has taken it upon himself to support his family. Although their lives may be hardened by tragedy, they've found happiness. But that ephemeral warmth is shattered one day when Tanjirou finds his family slaughtered and the lone survivor, his sister Nezuko, turned into a demon. To his surprise, however, Nezuko still shows signs of human emotion and thought...

Don't know what your taste is but

Natsume's Book of Friends (super chill and relaxing to watch)

Katekyo Hitman Reborn (might take a while to warm up to this one but it's a fun ride)

Lupin III (old artwork though there was a new season released last year that modernized the anime in both artwork and plot)

Ouran High School Host Club (if you're looking for a romance/comedy kind of anime...there's a whole bunch of romance animes so if that's your kind of genre, I can recommend more)

1) Skip Beat, you can watch anime and then continue with manga (from 12th volume) - on of the toptier shoujo out here, great comedy, great (like, very good, one of the best in shoujo genre minimum) main character and great character development from her side-it's great to watch how she learns to love herself, live for herself and how she finds a passion in her work.

45 volumes, still ongoing.

2) D. Gray Man - beautiful shounen with nice and pretty unique setting (alternative Europe of..idk 18-20'ish centuries?), fights with demons, VERY BIG MYSTERY about origins of main hero and his role in all this. Manga is ongoing, but it got a big hit because of hiatus and now it's only one chapter per 3 monts. But I love it sosososososo much. A+ design, funny characters, a lot of mystery and drama

3) Hikaru no Go - sport genre anime about go/baduk/  - it gave me very intense emotions, SUPER well and smoothly done character development - in later episodes I stopped myself and thought: "wow, Hikaru grew up and matured so much". It's so nice to realize. The sport element is still here despite the game consisting of putting stones on the desk. I enjoyed it a lot, O was rooting for the main hero so much goood. He is annoying at the start (just regular immature dumb boy), but he learns and he matures and it's so good *sob*. I rewatched it about 3-4 times lol.

HIGHLY recommended

4) Kaleido Star - sport genre about acrobatic circus. Girl is main char and it really intense too (like any other good sport anime, heh)

5) Noragami - it's nice anime about "homeless" God who is working hard to build himself a temple and get followers ;) Friendship, dark past, love, regrets, magic, creatures - all in a pack and very well delivered

Dororo (2019): synopsis from MAL— A samurai lord has bartered away his newborn son's organs to forty-eight demons in exchange for dominance on the battlefield. Yet, the abandoned infant survives thanks to a medicine man who equips him with primitive prosthetics—lethal ones with which the wronged son will use to hunt down the multitude of demons to reclaim his body one piece at a time, before confronting his father. On his journeys the young hero encounters an orphan who claims to be the greatest thief in Japan.

The op is pretty lit too ngl

Fukigen na Mononokean - season 2 is airing

The start of Hanae Ashiya's high school career has not been easy—he has spent all of the first week in the infirmary, and his inexplicable condition is only getting worse. The cause of his torment is the mysterious fuzzy creature that has attached itself to him ever since he stumbled upon it the day before school began.

As his health continues to decline and the creature grows in size, Hanae comes across a flyer advertising an exorcist who expels youkai. Desperate and with nothing left to lose, he calls the number and is led to the Mononokean, a tea room which suddenly appears next to the infirmary. A morose-sounding man, Haruitsuki Abeno, reluctantly helps Hanae but demands payment afterward. Much to Hanae's dismay, he cannot afford the fee and must become an employee at the Mononokean to work off his debt. And to make things worse, his new boss is actually one of his classmates. If Hanae ever hopes to settle his debt, he must work together with Abeno to guide a variety of dangerous, strange, and interesting youkai back to the Underworld.

Tsuritama

Yuki Sanada is a socially awkward young man who lives with his grandmother. Due to her job, they must move around a lot. This means Yuki has difficulty forming lasting relationships with his peers, or relationships at all, for that matter. His fear of social interaction is so great that when asked to make a greeting or parting speech in his classes, Yuki often freezes. As if drowning, he blacks out from the present, only able to focus on his certain ridicule. However, Yuki's life changes forever when he moves to Enoshima and meets an odd boy named Haru—who claims to be an alien.

Haru wields a questionable water gun and fish bowl, and has a tendency to speak with the beta fish inside it. He immediately latches onto Yuki as a friend, completely disregarding any complaints Yuki might have about this. Haru is like a force of nature, unheeding of other people's resistance to his antics. Together, Haru and Yuki also snowball a fellow classmate and fisherman named Natsuki Usami into Haru’s schemes. What out-of-this-world adventures lie ahead for this unique bunch? Find out in Tsuritama!

Barakamon

Seishuu Handa is an up-and-coming calligrapher: young, handsome, talented, and unfortunately, a narcissist to boot. When a veteran labels his award-winning piece as "unoriginal," Seishuu quickly loses his cool with severe repercussions.

As punishment, and also in order to aid him in self-reflection, Seishuu's father exiles him to the Goto Islands, far from the comfortable Tokyo lifestyle the temperamental artist is used to. Now thrown into a rural setting, Seishuu must attempt to find new inspiration and develop his own unique art style—that is, if boisterous children (headed by the frisky Naru Kotoishi), fujoshi middle schoolers, and energetic old men stop barging into his house! The newest addition to the intimate and quirky Goto community only wants to get some work done, but the islands are far from the peaceful countryside he signed up for. Thanks to his wacky neighbors who are entirely incapable of minding their own business, the arrogant calligrapher learns so much more than he ever hoped to.

Handa-kun: prequel to Barakamon but you need to watch Barakamon first to understand this anime

Hated by everyone around him, Sei Handa goes about his high school life regarded as an outcast—or at least that's what he believes. In reality, Sei is the most popular student on campus, revered by all for his incomparable calligraphy skills, good looks, and cool personality. However, due an endless series of misunderstandings, Handa perceives the worship he receives from his legions of fans as bullying, leading the school's idol to shut himself off from the rest of his classmates.

But distancing himself from his peers doesn't deter them from adoring him; in fact, his attempts at drawing attention away from himself often end up unintentionally converting even the most skeptical of students into believers. Fashion models, shut-in delinquents, obsessive fangirls, and more—none can stand against the brilliance that is Sei Handa.
